{"product_id":"prints-bird-girl","title":"Bird Girl - An Enchanted Place to Love","description":"\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong data-end=\"168\" data-start=\"147\"\u003ePlease meet Bird Girl!\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1936 the original sculpture called \"Girl With Bowls “ was cast in bronze by the artist Sylvia Shaw Judson.  It was intended to be a garden statue to hold food or water for birds, with  potential fountain features.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe statue was called  \"Little Wendy\" by its first owners ~ and placed at the Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia.  The statue gained widespread fame from Jack Leigh's photograph for the cover of John Berendt's book “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil”.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDue to overwhelming public interest and to protect the grave site, it  was donated to the Telfair Museums.
