Forgiveness can be scary.
It can bring up so many other feelings that we can often be unprepared for.

The most important thing to remember is that forgiveness can be the doorway to our own inner peace. It keeps us from being trapped in our own prison. It's important to remember that forgiveness doesn't mean we forget — it just offers a place to lay down the suffering any hurt has caused us. It can be something we have created or perhaps something that feels like it has been done to us.
All of it has its place to be honored and seen, but then to be released.
