Chronic stress is one of the most common challenges we face as a society today. In fact, in a recent survey by the American Psychological Association, nearly half of all Americans reported that their stress levels have been on the rise throughout the past 5 years. And while we may be aware that long-term stress is damaging to both our minds and bodies (leading to an increased risk for heart disease, obesity, and depression), it can sometimes feel difficult to break the cycle.If this sounds familiar, then we invite you to join certified Meditation Instructor and Holistic Life Coach, Teresa Weybrew, for a four part Meditation Series designed to help you reduce stress, and reclaim your Zen.
Throughout this 4-Week Series you’ll discover powerful meditation techniques to help you master your thoughts and emotions, leaving you better equipped to manage your daily stressors with confidence and grace.
Each week will include an engaging discussion on the power of meditation, as well as guided mindfulness and silent meditation to calm your mind, activate the parasympathetic nervous system, and dissolve tension.
Through weekly practice and encouragement, you’ll learn how to develop and maintain an ongoing Meditation practice, and will discover how you can change your physical and emotional wellbeing through the power of meditation. You’ll end the Series feeling grounded, serene, and empowered, with a new set of tools to face whatever it is that life throws at you!
Class meets once weekly on Wednesday evenings beginning October 3rd – 24th.
